Arctic ties up deal with Ci Distribution to expand in UK

Ci Distribution has tied up a deal with Arctic to distribute the thermal cooling manufacturer’s products throughout the UK. Arctic previously had an exclusion distribution agreement in place with Entatech, however was left needing a new Channel partner after the distributor shut its doors last month.

Arctic sales director Peter Janowski said that teaming up with the Basingstoke-based IT distributor will allow Arctic to expand its presence within the UK. “We are excited about the partnership with Ci Distribution,” Janowski said. “Ci D is a strong distribution partner with an excellent reputation whose experience and expertise will enable us to support new and existing customers, strengthen our brand and expand our sales in the region. We look forward to collectively growing our business together.”

Equally excited about the partnership, Ci Distribution business manager Iain Gillogaley said that Arctic’s product line will compliment the distributor’s extensive product line of hardware devices. "ARCTIC’s product portfolio compliments and completes the already extensive product line CI distribution offers for hardware devices,” he said. “We are delighted about the collaboration with ARCTIC, the partnership signals Ci Distribution’s continued commitment to delivering a wide portfolio of high-quality products from exceptional brands."

Arctic specialism is in cooling PCs, including copper and aluminium heatsink development, quiet fans, systematic noise reduction and the customisation of thermal solutions. The Arctic brand is divided into five sub-brands – Arctic Cooling, Arctic Sound, Arctic Power, Arctic Equipment and Arctic Living.

Ci Distribution has also added BullGuard and Silicon Power to its list of Channel partners. While BullGuard provides IT security systems, Silicon Power manufactures memory and storage solutions.
